VGP - Vehicles of foreigners circulating in Viet Nam for tourism have to meet four conditions, according to the Government’s newly-approved decree.

Question: Conditions for vehicles of foreigners to circulate in Viet Nam for tourism?

Answer:

Firstly, foreigners have to ask for permission via Vietnamese international travel agencies and their vehicles are allowed to circulate for no more than 30 days.

Secondly, they also have to apply for permission of the Ministry of Transport.

Thirdly, foreign vehicles must be left-hand steering wheel and less-than-9-seater passenger cars and motorcycles, registered in foreign countries with foreign number plates and have valid certificates of technical safety and environmental protection.
