September, 1996 – November, 1998: worked at the Environment Department under the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment

December, 1998 – April, 2002: Deputy Manager, Manager of the Policy and  Laws Office under the  Environment Department (the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment)

May, 2002 – December, 2003: Deputy Director of the Environment Department (the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment)

January, 2004 – September, 2005: Acting Director, then Director of the Environmental Protection Department under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment
